Breakfast and After School Clubs and Activities
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs daily from 8.20am to 8.45am. We provide a range of nutritious cereals, various breads for toast, bagels, fresh brioche and fresh juice at only £1 a day per child. This can be paid via parent-pay.
Evidence shows that providing a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day can contribute to improved readiness to learn, increased concentration, and improve wellbeing and behaviour.
At Brunshaw we make it our priority for Breakfast Club to be a fun but calming, social occasion with a range of activities from Lego building to arts and crafts.
Meet the Team
Mrs Preston, our Pupil Support Worker, is the Breakfast Club Leader. Anna and Kay from the Pupil and Family Support Team are also available for any children/families during this time.
Alongside them are: Miss Sturgeon, Mrs Davis, Mrs Holdsworth, Mrs Cheetham, Mr Clough, Mrs Murray, Mrs Whippy and Miss Williams who all work extremely hard to make sure the club runs as smoothly and efficiently as it does.
After School Clubs and Activities
Brunshaw offer a number of after school clubs and activities for all pupils. These are offered on a term by term basis with an up to date timetable published every week in the School Newsletter. You can also find out the start and end times on the School Calendar if you need to quickly check on the day when and where to pick up your child.
The clubs and activities range from indoor activities such as choir, guitar practice, street dance, drama and maths club. Then there are lots of outdoor activities such as football, olympic club, striking and fielding, invasion games and walks around the local area.
