Autumn term – outdoor learning – what works well and how can we improve it

Spring term – Easter competition and British Science Week. Looking at ideas for a whole school competition and prize ideas. BSW – the theme is curiosity, what is your question? – what could we do as a whole school?

Looking at our sensory science space for all learners

Summer term – a poster competition for working scientifically – whole school. Pick posters that can be displayed in classrooms on the working walls – prizes to be won.

Discussion about outdoor learning – have things improved? New resources? Sensory science space? Is there anything we can add?

Autumn term – we agreed that the ambassadors would speak to children in their class about outdoor learning and why they like it. What sort of outdoor learning is done in your class for science? Can we make it better?
