Regular attendance at school is vital because it gives children the best possible opportunity to learn, progress and succeed. When pupils attend school every day, they are able to build strong routines, keep up with learning, and develop important social skills through friendships and teamwork. Missing school can create gaps in knowledge that are difficult to fill, which may affect confidence and achievement over time. Good attendance also helps children feel a sense of belonging and responsibility, supporting their wellbeing and preparing them for future education and employment.
As part of our dedication to ensuring all our pupils attend school we have a dedicated team, lead by our outstanding Attendance Manager, Mrs. Ahmed who works closely with our Whole School Attendance Lead, Mrs. Jameson and our Pastoral Team alongside every Class Teacher and Support Staff in order to make sure we work as closely as possible with both our students and their families to help in any way we can keep attendance at highest possible levels.
