Miss Lees asked if anyone had any concerns about Online Safety in their classes or at home. The children had no issues to report.

Miss Lees asked who we had selected to be the Online Safety Champion for our class for the next academic year. The children’s choices are as follows:

Ash – Hannah

Aspen – Florence

Oak – Freddie W

Cedar – Lana

Holly – Harvey

Maple – Isla B

Spruce – Gia

Rowan – Sophia D

Chestnut – Archie

Miss Lees asked what advice we wanted to pass on to parents and carers to help keep children safe online during the summer holidays. We came up with these ideas:

• Keep your devices in safe places (Mia-May)
• Make sure children only use apps for children (Dominic)
• Keep a close eye on children whilst they are using a device in case they go on something they shouldn’t (Georgia)
• Make sure children ask permission before taking photos (Luke)

We will post these ideas to parents on Dojo and the newsletter before the summer break.
