Great Fire of London - Museum Artefacts
As part of our topic on the Great Fire of London we looked at some very interesting objects from the museum loan box, including a fire hat and bucket. Some children also used code to write words related to the fire just like Samuel Pepys did in his diary.
The Great Fire of London
Freddie kindly brought in a real fire helmet for us to look at as part of our Great Fire of London topic! He told us all about the helmet which belongs to his Grandad. The children were fascinated and really enjoyed learning about how the equipment we have now can help make sure that something as big as the Great Fire of London wouldn't happen today. Thank you Freddie and Grandad!
