Science Ambassadors
Meet your Science Ambassadors
Our wonderful group of children have been appointed the role of Science Ambassador for their class. Science Ambassadors responsibilities will include: Attending meetings to discuss the ways we can improve Science, volunteering at the schools Science week and with other Science led activities and assisting the class teacher when setting up Science lessons. This role enables the pupils to have a voice about their learning, bringing their creative ideas to the table and to help create a whole school vision for Science.
This year's Science Ambassadors are:
Sycamore – Connor
Willow – Arthur
Ash – Lottie
Oak – Leo
Aspen – Tyler
Holly – Kyra
Cedar – Oliver
Maple – Lily
Spruce – Heidi
Chestnut – Cameron
Rowan – Riley
Elder – Zachery
Hawthorne – Blake
Here's what some of them had to say about Science in Class so far:
Lily (Maple class) says “I have really enjoyed our topic about animals and nature”.
Blake (Hawthorne class) says “We have been learning about circuits. I’ve loved it! My favourite part was making the circuits and seeing if they worked”.
Riley (Rowan class) says “We have been learning about the Solar System and it is really interesting. I have enjoyed researching the different planets”.
Leo (Oak class) says “I love science! When I’m older, I’m going to be a scientist!”.
Kyra (Holly class) says “We have been learning about fossils and it was really interesting. I have learned lots of new things and my favourite part was making our own fossils to take home!”.
The Science Ambassadors have a meeting in July to make big decisions on some new fun and engaging activities for the next academic year. They have worked hard and will carry on the role next year as Science Ambassadors for their new class, as we have lots to do and plan!
Our meeting agenda is action packed and each child will be given an individual role for September 2024. The minutes of our meeting will be uploaded once we have met.
