Whole Year
Incey Wincey Spider.....
As part of our mini beast topic Quinn's grandma brought her tarantula and some insects that they eat. The children loved seeing the spider, some of the adults were a little unsure!
Outdoor Play
The adults at the Foundation Centre have been working hard at improving the outside areas. This week the children have enjoyed playing outdoors.
Phonics at the Foundation Centre
This week some parents joined us to see how amazing we are at phonics! We learn phonics daily to support us with our reading and writing. You can see how hard we work and then how we can apply this in our own learning.
Nativity - Church Visit
Willow and Sycamore Reception children went to visit Father Roger at St Catherine's Church this week. We learnt all about The Nativity Story and asked Father Roger lots of questions about his job.
Outdoor Learning
On Monday Sycamore and Willow class explored the outside area. A bit of rain won't stop our learning!
Road Safety
Willow and Sycamore Reception children have been learning all about road safety. Here we are crossing Morse Street. We remembered to find a safe place to cross, stop, look, listen and think! All of the children were very sensible. We also learnt about the different kinds of crossings. During Wheelie Wednesday children stopped at a pretend zebra crossing to let Miss Cheetham cross safely.
Looking at Houses
Willow and Sycamore Reception children have been on a local walk looking for different types of houses. We spotted some terraced, semi-detached and a bungalow!
Wheelie Wednesdays
Willow and Sycamore Reception children have enjoyed their first Wheelie Wednesday!
