Visit from Wonderdome
We had a visit from the Wonderdome. They set up their large, blow up, planetarium and delivered a lesson about the solar system to the children in year 5. We were shown how the planets orbit, how long they take to orbit the sun and they even told us about the next planned mission to the moon. On November 14th 2022 they will be sending a test rocket to the moon ready for our next visit in 2024. The last time we sent someone to the moon was in December 1972, almost 50 years ago.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed it, along with the adults, it was out of this world!
