Meet your Music Ambassadors
Meet Leo and Rubi-Alice. They are the Music Ambassadors at Brunshaw. They have a love for music and support music here at Brunshaw. They support whole school assemblies by setting up the computer, music and words for the member of staff leading the assembly.
They have a responsibility for helping to keep the instrument area tidy and may sometimes be required to transport instruments around school.
They are involved in boosting singing around the school and help to plan and support musical events at school.
Sponsored Sing
Our Music Ambassadors helped organise a Sponsored Sing at Brunshaw. Their idea was to raise money for our school library improvements and support the UK Charity - Music and the Deaf. They helped organise, promote and run the day. They even provided the music at lunchtime when our parents and governors came to join in. We raised a staggering £1932.00 to be split between both causes. Well done!
Easter Concert
Our Music Ambassadors went with our youngest children to visit the local sheltered accommodation near to school. They sang them some nursery rhymes and handed out Easter Cards that they had made. Everyone involved had an amazing time and the ambassadors were invaluable.
The Beatles
Rubi-Alice and Leo worked hard creating a PowerPoint to tell the rest of the children in the school a little more about a famous musical group from Liverpool called 'The Beatles'. They shared it with the children in assembly. Have a look at it and see if you learn anything new.
